Bush has denounced the 527's while having been the target of constant attacks from the left about his service and character. The response from Kerry now appears to be a smoke screen to divert attention from the facts -- to somehow link Bush to the Swift Boat Vets while not mentioning the constant barrage of attacks on Bush from their 527's and the Michael Moore's of the world and their links to top DNC officials. To end this matter, the media should simply provide a side-by-side graphic that shows: The Swift Boat Ad claims: (state the specific claim(s) made by the ad) The Kerry campaign claims: (state Kerry's "latest" position or responses to each claim) The facts: (state what is true or not... or whether the truth known or not clear) It's that simple -- put it in perspective based on facts -- isn't that what the media is supposed to do? Either it is an issue or not.. .but all this mudslinging is being perpetuated by a media that is too timid to address the real issue, is Kerry fit to be Commander and Chief? Well, if he did the things the ads allege ... like testify before Congress and constantly flip-flop on his Cambodia trips and medals, then American's need to know. It's that simple folks.
